5pm CQLD & SEQLD UPDATE
Central Inland QLD (red circle): Isolated to scattered severe storms are increasing across the Central West & Central Highlands. These storms are less widespread than yesterday, but moving over the same areas. Storms are likely producing heavy rainfall leading to flash flooding and locally damaging winds from microbursts. The most notable cell is North of Aramac, moving towards Laglan and East / North East of Aramac.
Central Eastern, Southern Inland & South Eastern QLD (blue circle): Widespread light rain areas are continuing to spread Eastwards through the Central Highlands into the Capricornia, with rain areas and any embedded, isolated storms, moving Southwards across the Wide Bay & Burnett, South East Coast, Darling Downs & Granite Belt. Most of the rain areas are remaining light, but long-lived.
