Weather Situation
5:40pm SEQLD Rain & Storm Update: Storms are ongoing across the Darling Downs, with this activity slowly weakening as the storms move into a less favourable (much cooler) environment. Any ongoing storms are expected to contain heavy rainfall.
Across the Fraser Coast, Wide Bay, South Burnett, Darling Downs, Granite Belt and into the South East Coast - widespread rain areas (and some thundery rain areas) are continuing. All of this activity is pushing through, with mostly light to moderate activity occurring. This rainfall will likely continue to boost accumulations, and while we are watching for any problem areas that may pop up, there are none that are obvious right now.
