5:15pm Inland & South East NSW Severe Storm Warning + 4:15pm Southern Inland QLD Severe Storm Warning
A large and extensive line of severe storms is continuing to move East across Southern Inland QLD, Inland & South Eastern NSW. These storms are continuing to produce numerous areas of damaging wind gusts, with multiple reports of 100-120km/h winds across Inland NSW today already. Heavy rainfall leading to flash flooding is also a risk with several storms - along with general thundery rain areas setting in over South Eastern NSW, which will likely lead to some moderate to heavy falls developing across that region.
These storms are expected to impact St George, Mungindi, Goondiwindi, Moree, Narrabri, Boggabri, Barraba, Warialda, Manilla, Tamworth, Quirindi, Murrurundi, all of Greater Sydney, all of the Central Coast and all of the Inland Hunter over the next few hours. Thundery rain areas have also set in over the Illawarra and South Coast.
